App: PTV Mobile App
Project Objective: Utilising UX research and processes to analyse the unanticipated design challenges within the PTV mobile app and identify optimal solutions for these issues.
As part of the team, I participated in conducting extensive research, including field diary entries and comparative analysis to gain insights into user behaviours and preferences. Subsequently, formulating a comprehensive test plan outlining the methodology and objectives of the research. Participant recruitment was meticulously carried out to ensure a diverse pool of individuals representative of the target user base. Tasks and scenarios were carefully crafted to simulate real-world interactions with the PTV Mobile App, facilitating the collection of relevant data. During interviews, I assumed the role of primary observer, diligently recording notes and administering surveys to gather qualitative feedback. Utilising a success/fail matrix, I evaluated the effectiveness of different app features and functionalities. Additionally, I employed the System Usability Scale to quantitatively measure user satisfaction and ease of use, subsequently analysing the results to identify areas for improvement. Through collaborative efforts, we synthesised our findings to refine the design and enhance the overall user experience of the PTV Mobile App.
